We’re Cliff and Erin Forbes — the proud parents of seven, entrepreneurs at heart, and the family behind Gnam Gnam Gelato Mebane. With a love for small business and a passion for serving others, we've spent our lives creating things that bring joy — from a family-run greenhouse in Pennsylvania to a mobile food cart dishing out footlong hotdogs with creative toppings.
Now, we're thrilled to share our newest adventure with you: Gnam Gnam Gelato — which means “Yum, Yum” in Italian! It’s a fun, flavorful way to celebrate life’s little moments with handcrafted gelato, and refreshing sorbets.
Hard work, vision, and entrepreneurship have always been at the heart of everything we do. Before moving to Mebane, NC, Cliff spent nearly 20 years serving as a pastor in northwest Pennsylvania — a season that shaped our family’s values of faith, service, and genuine community. When we arrived in Mebane, we quickly fell in love with this town and knew it was the perfect place to put down roots and grow something meaningful again.
You’ll find us around town at local festivals, fairs, community events, wedding venues, private parties — or really anywhere people gather to celebrate. Nothing makes us happier than serving a sweet treat and seeing someone smile.
